In Stockholm we find Julia Kalthoff and her dedication to creating unique axes. Kalthoff Axes is a small-scale business with an annual turnover of SEK 3-4 million. She came to CNC Manufacturing with a need to process the forged ax heads, so that their manual work was not as heavy.

Kalthoff Axes has chosen to use Swedish chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel for its ax blades. This steel is very strong. The shaft is made of Swedish ash. In sum, these materials and workmanship provide an ax that, with proper maintenance, has a lifetime warranty.
